Same-Day Crowns

If you’ve made the time to come in for a dental crown, we believe you should be leaving the appointment with a completed crown. There’s nothing modern about babying a temporary crown for weeks while your final crown comes back from the lab, and nothing worse than needing to go back to the dentist for a re-cement because you ate a salad with too much enthusiasm. 

At Aurum Dental Aesthetics, we’ve embraced technological advancement with our suite of CEREC machines, prioritizing your convenience and experience by making our crowns in-house, so you leave your crown appointment without the need for follow-up appointments. Here’s how it works:

• Our team uses the CEREC scanner to create a 3D map of your tooth, which Dr. Kira uses to digitally design your new crown. The digital mockup is sent to our in-lab milling unit, which carves your crown from a block of (porcelain/composite?)
• While you relax with noise-cancelling headphones and your favorite Netflix show, we then bake your crown in a high-powered oven (which gets over 7000000 million degrees)!
• Your crown is then expertly polished by our dental assistant Sanela, cleaned, and fitted to your tooth on the spot.
